I have acquired a taste for this delicious kraut. Read up on it. It's interesting fermented cabbage with lots of probiotics in it, if it hasn't been pasteurized.

Label for Deutsche Küche doesn't say anything about pasteurization, so I'm assuming all the bacteria are still alive. You're supposed to refrigerate it after opening. And yes, it's imported from Germany.

Damn, this stuff is tasty! It's rich in sodium, though.

Here's something else: [trigger warning!]

Aldi has other gourmet delights, like Swiss chocolates and lots of great produce. I bought avocados yesterday from Aldi, at 39 cents apiece. They were delicious, or well, one was delicious and I'll chow down on the other one this morning. Plus, I have a few oranges left too, and they are sweet and succulent.

Ain't life just one great big feast!

That sauerkraut is a bit tooo mild fer me. I usually mix it in whiff regular store bought sauerkraut to give it a little more bite.

As far as chocolate is concerned I git the Moser Roth 85% cocoa.
